However, we’re not done. This summer, we are hoping to add a couple more contributors looking to expand their writing on a larger platform.
The goal: STF separates itself from the rest of the fantasy community through the amount of pride we take in the depth our articles have. You won’t see us posting regular run-of-the-mill news. Instead, we like to focus on thoughtful pieces with original ideas. Anybody can regurgitate the latest ESPN storylines and breaking news, but actually crafting an original piece with your own voice is the trick.
Guidelines: Must be at least 16 years of age. No prior writing experience is required, but recommended. Committed to contributing often, but not necessarily on a week-to-week basis. Interest in at least one of the categories below:
- NFL Draft
An NFL Draft writer is committed to conducting their own personal research about the new class of rookies for the following year. This includes watching film, creating scouting reports, and building mock drafts and big boards throughout the season.
- Fantasy Football (redraft+dynasty)
Rankings, player articles, mock drafts…you name it, we have it all! STF was originally founded solely as a fantasy football site and it remains one of our primary focuses. The maximum volume for fantasy writers ranges from early June to late January.
- Weekly Power Rankings/Game Picks
One of our more rigorous positions, a writer that wants to do weekly power rankings and/or game picks will have to be consistent each week in order to be on-time submitting their content for editing. This means writing 17 straight articles, one for each week of the NFL regular season,
